Association of Management Sciences

              The Management Association is a vibrant and dynamic association in this campus. To meet the demands of the industry and the present competitive environment and to provide adequate practical exposure to the members of the association, it regularly organizes a number of Guest Lectures, Workshops, Symposia, Seminars and Industrial Visits. The Association has the motto of making it’s members successful future managers and able leaders.

Seminars and Guest Lectures

                The Department regularly conducts seminars and Conferences to update the students with the latest Management Practices. Recently a seminar on "Recent Trends In Banking Sector" was conducted to orient the students with the current affairs. 

                 Eminent Management Scholars and the Industrialist are invited regularly to interact with the our students. Recently a guest lecture by Educational Consultant on the topic " The Challenges to be faced by the Management graduates" was given an exposure to the students regarding the crisis in practical business.
                

                 The club comprising of students organizes many Seminars, Guest Lectures and Other Programmes.  Some of them are :

• Dr.Raj Kumar, Annamalai University gave a comprehensive presentation on the "Techniques of Case Analysis.

• A Guest Lecture on "Advanced Technology Platforms" was delivered by Mr.Eswaran, Aptech Computers, Coimbatore.

• A workshop on :Change Management" was conducted by Mr.M.Muthiah Ramanathan, a Management Consultant from Chennai.

• An exclusive interactive session on "Entrepreneurial Success in IT Education" was jointly organised with the Executive Director of Global Village Shri.D.Prabhu.

                Our students participated in various inter – collegiate management meets and won laurels. The following enlists the events the students have been participated:

• Rupesh. K and Suresh Kumar.S of II MBA won the First Prize for the Best Paper presented in the Seminar on “Web Advertising” organized by Nehru College of Management.

• S. Kiruthika and G. Sathya Sree of II MBA won the Third Prize for the Best Paper presented in the Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Corporate Governance” organized by Nehru College of Management.

• Students have won prizes in various events in Melange organized by  GRD Institute of Management, Coimbatore

• Students have successfully participated and won prizes in Rexona – 24 Hours Rally

• Students have participated in the seminar on Globalization organized by R.V.S.  College of Arts and Science, Sulur, Coimbatore

• S. Mohammed Usmaan Sharif presented a paper on “Service Sector and IT” in a      
       seminar organized by Vellalar Engineering College, Erode.

• T.S. Murali Manoharan presented a paper on “Knit Wear and Garments”  in a    seminar organized by Periyar University,  Salem.

• Students participated a Training Porgramme on SPSS Package organized by Karunya Institute of Management, Coimbatore.
